Customer Service Representative (Collections Support) Location: Downtown Columbus, OH Salary: $40,000 - $41,000 annually Schedule: Full-Time Onsite Benefits: Free Downtown Parking Position Overview We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in downtown Columbus. In this role, you will handle a combination of inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with past-due accounts while providing exceptional customer service. This is not a hard collections role -the focus is on educating customers, resolving account concerns, and helping them find payment solutions. Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls regarding account balances and payment inquiries. Make outbound courtesy calls to customers regarding past-due accounts. Assist customers with resolving account issues and establishing payment arrangements. Accurately document customer interactions in the system. Maintain a professional, courteous, and empathetic approach on every call. Research account information to provide accurate resolutions. Meet individual and team performance goals for call quality and productivity. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns. Qualifications 1+ year of customer service, call center, collections, or related experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly. Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
