Key Responsibilities - Credit Screening Representative Perform detailed credit risk evaluations to support sound lending decisions while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines Assess applicant financial strength by reviewing credit reports, financial statements, and relevant market indicators Review loan applications, including financial background and collateral, and recommend appropriate credit terms and conditions Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, underwriting, and legal to gather, validate, and interpret applicant information Provide customer support via phone, email, and chat by resolving credit report discrepancies and missing or inaccurate bureau data Participate in conference calls with consumers and creditors to verify balances, payment histories, and account details Share process knowledge and best practices with team members to support overall performance Assist with onboarding and training of new employees, including conference call procedures and supplemental report preparation Qualifications - Credit Screening Representative Recent experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic proficiency with Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet navigation Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting phone, quality, and performance metrics Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support peers and contribute to shared success
