Description
The Hotel Director of Catering is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the catering department in our Hotel. This includes managing the catering team, developing and implementing catering strategies, and ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standards. Responsibilities : Develop and implement catering strategies to increase revenue and profitability. Manage the catering team including hiring, training, and scheduling. Ensure all events are executed to the highest standards, including food quality, service and presentation. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, Kitchen and Banquets to promote catering services and increase business. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors. Manage catering budgets and expenses. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering management. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organization and planning skills. Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering software.
