Product Development Engineer

Job Requirements

Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in a product development engineering related role within medical devices or digital orthodontic industry.

Position requires prior acquisition of the following skills

1. 3D CAD (such as SolidWorks) and design for manufacturing principles 2. Design verification and validation, including test method development and execution 3. Lean product development, Six Sigma methodologies (such as Green Belt), and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA) 4. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS for static, dynamic, and fatigue simulation of medical device components 5. Multi-process additive manufacturing (SLA, DLS, and FDM 3D printing) for medical device prototyping and production 6. CAD automation and parametric modeling for converting 2D treatment data into 3D production-ready models 7.
